Wrestlers send 9 to semifinals of section tourney; Olson recognized for Section finish

Albert Lea wrestling went to the Rochester Civic Center today for the Section 1AA Individual Tournament. As a team the Tigers have 12 wrestlers that made it to day two, 9 of which are in the semifinals round that will begin at noon Saturday. Also, at the event, 7th grader Maggie Olson was recognized for her achievement at the girls section tournament last weekend. Maggie placed 3rd at the Section 1-4 Tournament in Hastings Saturday last week.
