USC wins Gopher Conference Boys Golf Meet at Oakview

USC Boys Golf 1^st, Neubauer medalist

The USC Rebel boys’ golf team participated in a Gopher Conference meet on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Oak View Golf Course sunny, cool spring day.

The low score for the day, and medalist honors, went to USC sophomore Kadyn Neubauer with a score of 36—even par at Oak View.  Kadyn was followed closely by another sophomore, Blake Bullerman, with a 38.  Carter Hart’s 45 and Luke Pederson’s 46 completed USC’s team scoring.  Nick Schindler, at 55, and Levi Hinkley, at 56, filled out the 6-man roster.

The team scores are as follows:

1)      United South Central  165

2)      Kenyon-Wanamingo  195

3)      Triton  212

4)      NRHEG  incomplete

The USC individual scores are as follows:

This is the team’s first golf meet of the 2022 season.  After today’s action, USC’s record is 3-0.

USC’s next competition will be another home conference meet with on Thursday, April 14^th, at 4:30pm, weather permitting.  USC will be hosting Blooming Prairie, JWP, and NRHEG.  All Gopher Conference golf meets are free and open to the public, so all are welcome to attend.
