Truman Boy Hospitalized After Being Struck By Van

A Truman boy was hospitalized after being struck by a van in Martin County Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened at 4:20 p.m. on Highway 15 at 2nd St N in Truman. The 12-year-old boy, who was a pedestrian, was struck by a Ford Transit van that was northbound on Highway 15.
The boy, identified as Kaidan Spencer Neitcke of Truman, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont with non-life threatening injuries.
The van driver, 44-year-old Lisa Ann Frederickson of Madelia, wasn’t injured. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the state patrol.
