Tiger Girls Golf takes 2nd, Alden Conger wins in Adams

Girls Golf
The AL girls golf team competed in the Owatonna Invite today at the Owatonna Country Club. The Tigers took 2nd place in the 6 team field shooting a 399 on a tough golf course. Alyssa Jensen (87) and Whitney Mullenbach (88) both earned a medal today by taking 2nd and 3rd place overall in the tourney. Also scoring for the Tigers were Addison Herr 111, and Jessica Vogt 113. Pequot Lakes took first place with a 372, Lakeville South 3rd with a 414, New Prague 4th with 425, Owatonna 5th with a 426, and Lakeville North 6th with 449.
Alden-Conger Knights participated in an 18-hole Rebel Invitational match at the Cedar River Golf Course in Adams. This is the girl’s second 18-hole event this week. The lady knights won the invitational with a total score of 516 over Lanesboro 548, and Glenville-Emmons 688.
