Tiger Baseball sweeps Double Header at Faribault

Albert Lea 4, Faribault 2

-Tigers scored 3 in the 2nd, thanks to RBI singles by Ben Kuiters and Henry Eggum.  Falcons cut it to 3-1 after 4.  Albert Lea would add one in the 7th off a RBI single by Kuiters, and go on for the 4-2 win

Faribault 2R, 7H, 4E,  Albert Lea 4R, 9H, 1E

Carter Miller with the win, 7 innings, 2 runs, 1 earned, striking out 8 and walking 2

Kuiters led the offense going 4 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, Dakota Jahnke went 2 for 4, Brennan Baaken 2 for 4, with a stolen base, and Mike Olson scored 2 runs

Albert Lea 5, Faribault 2

Tied game going into the 5th when Albert Lea erupted for 3 runs, to go on for the win

Albert Lea 5R 6H 1E, Faribault 2R, 4H, 1E

Cam Davis with the win, 5 innings, 2 runs, 4 hits, struck out 4 and walked one

Baaken with 2 for 4 with 2 runs and a stolen base, Davis 2 for 3 with a RBI

Tigers now 4-5 on the season
