Southwest Minnesota Teen Killed in Crash on Icy, Snowy Roads in Northwest Iowa

(Hull, IA) — Snow and ice-covered roads are believed to be a factor in a crash in northwest Iowa Tuesday night that left a Minnesota teen dead. The Iowa State Patrol says a car driven by 18-year-old Emma Nibbelink of Luverne was on Highway 75 when she overcorrected, crossed the center line and was struck by a pickup. Troopers say Nibbelink died at the scene. The report says Highway 75 near Hull was covered in snow and ice at the time.
