(Oronoco, MN) — A Rochester man is in custody after fleeing from deputies into a river in Oronoco in southeast Minnesota. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says deputies dispatched to the Oronoco Self Storage Units Friday morning after hearing a man with multiple warrants was there. 47-year-old Frankie Hanson saw deputies and fled, jumping into the river to try to get away. Deputies eventually removed Hanson from the river and arrested him. He’s now facing charges in additional to those in the original misdemeanor warrants.
