Occupants escape Friday morning fire in Kasota Township residence

(Kasota Twp, MN)  —  Authorities are trying to determine the cause of a Friday morning fire at a residence in Kasota Township in south-central Minnesota.  Le Sueur County officials say sheriff’s deputies arrived to find the basement fully engulfed in flames.  Three occupants were able to escape and were monitored on-scene for smoke inhalation.  There’s no word yet on the extent of the damage.
