Tigers with 2 in the 1st, 2 in 2nd and 3 in the 3rd jumping out to a 7-0 lead. Logan Davis went 5 ⅔ allowing 2 runs off of 7 hits, struck out 4 and walked 3
Leading the offense, Layton Yost 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, Dakota Jahnke 2 for 3 with a RBI, Devin Truesdell 2 for 3, as the Tigers outhit Mayo 9-7
Albert Lea has won 5 of their last 6 and are now 5-6 overall. Mayo with just their 3rd loss of the season now 9-3

Alden Dobberstein 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s and 3 stolen bases, Andrew Phillips 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s, 3 runs scored and 2 stolen bases. Jared Lee with first career varsity win, 4 innings in relief, allowing 0 runs off of 5 hits, struck out 3 and walked 2. Panthers are now 6-1

Rochester Mayo 6, Albert Lea 2
Mayo scored 3 in the top of first, Albert Lea would answer with 2 in the bottom of the first, Maddy Balfe with an RBI double, and Navaeh Wacholz with a sacrifice fly that scored a run to cut the lead to 3-2. Mayo would add 2 in the top of the 3rd to make it 5-2. Albert Lea had their chances leaving runners in scoring position in the 2nd, 3rd and 5th inning. Tigers out hit Mayo 9-6 . Freshman Taylor Johnson pitched a complete game for Albert Lea. Balfe and Kristina Espinoza both led the offense with 2 hits a piece, Tigers drop to 4-9, Mayo is now 7-6
