MSU Buildings Closed After Bomb Threat

Two buildings at Minnesota State University, Mankato are closed Friday morning following a bomb threat.

Armstrong Hall and Otto Recreation Center will be closed until further notice, according to a text sent from MSU at 5 a.m.

In an email alert sent minutes later, Brian Martensen, Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs said that the buildings have been searched and nothing was found.

Martensen said all employees in the Otto and Armstrong buildings should plan to work from home on Friday.

The school says it is working with the Mankato Department of Public Safety.
