Minnesota Law Enforcement Responding to Numerous Crashes, Spinouts

(Golden Valley, MN) — This winter storm continues to make travel difficult and dangerous on Minnesota roads. The State Patrol reports there were 157 crashes, more than 650 spinouts and ten jackknifed semis from 11:30 a-m to 9:30 p-m on Tuesday. Troopers say a Maple Lake man was killed while standing on the shoulder of Highway 24 in Clearwater Township last night. The report says the victim’s car was in the ditch and he was struck by a southbound pickup. The snow and freezing rain led to the cancellation of nearly 200 flights at Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport and dozens more Wednesday morning
