Eric Clapton Making North American Tour Stop in St. Paul

(St. Paul, MN) — Legendary British guitarist and songwriter Eric Clapton is coming to North America this fall and Minnesota is one of his tour stops. Seventy-seven-year-old Clapton is scheduled to play the Xcel Energy Center on September 14th. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a-m through Ticketmaster and it will likely be an expensive concert. The news release does not list tickets prices but says “certain fees may apply.” Jimmie Vaughn of the Fabulous Thunderbirds is the opening act in St. Paul. Clapton is also playing in Pittsburgh, Toronto, St. Louis, and Denver in September.
