Crashes Continue on Minnesota Roads During Winter Storm

(Golden Valley, MN) — The snow is no longer falling in Minnesota, but the State Patrol is warning drivers that the road conditions are dangerous again today (Thursday) across the state. There were 47 crashes, 188 vehicle spinouts, and one jackknifed semi from 9:30 last night through 7:30 this morning. Authorities responded to a total of 202 crashes statewide Wednesday, 16 with injuries and 99 spinouts. Strong winds will blow that snow around later today and tomorrow, creating blizzard conditions. Troopers say to turn on your headlights and slow down.
