Albert Lea Girls Hockey improves to 3-0 on the season

On Saturday in their home opener, Albert Lea out shot River Lakes 59-28, in a 2-1 victory. Tigers tallied both their scores in the 2nd period, Sophomore Shelby Evan with her 4th goal of the year, assisted by Elizabeth Willet and Aryah Hansen and 9th grader Hanna Austin with her first of the season assisted by Sydney Kolker. River Lakes would score their only goal in the 3rd. Junior Rachel Doppelhammer with the win in net with 27 saves. Tigers are now 3-0 and will host Austin Tuesday night, a game you can hear on KATE
