Albert Lea Girls Golf Team takes 6th, Jensen 5th overall in 12 team invite
The Albert Lea Girls Golf team played in the Lakeville Invite at Brackett’s Crossing today. The Tigers finished 6th in the 12 team invite shooting 373. Alyssa Jensen was our top scorer today and she also earned a medal for finishing 5th overall individually shooting a 79. That was a really great score on a tough new course she had never seen before. Whitney Mullenbach shot a solid 83, Ashlyn Berven shot 101, and Ayva Murray 110 to score for the Tigers. This was a tournament with mostly metro schools in it. Shakopee, Eagan, Apple Valley, Burnsville, Orono, Eastview, Lakeville North and South, Northfield Lake City, and Owatonna. It was a solid finish for us to land in the middle of the pack with less than our best score for the season. Eastview won the Invite with 324 and Lake City took 2nd with 338.
