Our first Produce State Bank Athlete of the week is Gavin Hanke from the Albert Lea Cross Country team.

“He is a great young man, he has led the team for the past 2 years. He was an all conference runner last year and he looks to continue this year. This season he has run his best career time of 17:05 at the state meet course at St. olaf. His goal is to continue to drop time and run in the 16 minute range and lead the team to hopefully a berth at the state meet. He has run with the tiger on the track and cross country teams for a number of years. He has participated in basketball and tennis. His hobbies include following the stock market and fantasy football”
