Albert Lea Boys Hockey team rallies for overtime win, Tiger Girls fall at New Ulm

Minnehaha Academy 5 in Overtime 

Red Hawks were up 2-0, when the Tigers would get goals from Max Edwin and Joseph Yoon  to tie things up 2-2 after 1, Red Hawks would go up 4-2 in the 2nd period,  Tim Chalmers would score on the Power Play to make it 4-3 after 2.

MA would go up 5-3 early, and it would remain that way until just under 4 minutes left, Edwin would score for the 2nd time to cut the lead to 1. And with 22 seconds left the Tigers would tie things up at 5 with Chalmers netting his 2nd goal. Edwin would net the hat trick and the game winner with 2:25 left in OT to finish off the comeback win. Yoon and Chalmers with the assist on the GW.  Edwin with 5 points, 3 goals and 2 assists, Chalmers 2 goals, 3 assists Yoon 1 goal, 3 assists And Spencer VanBeek 2 assists

Tigers outshoot MA 34-27

Albert Lea is now  2-1 and will host Owatonna tomorrow night
