Albert Lea Boys Hockey edges Rochester Lourdes in Section Semifinal, Tiger seek first trip to State since 2007 on Wednesday

3rd Seeded Albert Lea 4

2nd Seeded Rochester Lourdes 3

-The teams erupted for 6 goals in the first period, for a 3-3 tie after 1.  Max Edwin would get the game winner early in the 2nd.  Albert Lea was never on the power play, Rochester Lourdes was 0-1

-Tanner Nelson with 27 saves in the win. Albert Lea is 19-8 on the season, and will face 4th seeded New Prague in the Section 1A Final on Wednesday at the Rochester Rec Center starting at 7.  New Prague, 10-15-2, knocked off top seed Northfield 3-2 in OT in the other section semifinal.   Albert Lea is looking for their 4th trip to state tournament (2004, 05, 07). New Prague is looking for their 3rd trip to State (2014, 2015)
