Albert Lea Baseball rallies but comes up short against West, and the rest of the Baseball and Softball Scores from 4/11

Mankato West 7, Albert Lea 6

Mankato West was up 7-1 in the bottom of the 7th, when Albert Lea would rally with 5 runs, thanks to 6 walks issued by West pitching in the inning.  Tigers would strand the tying run at 3rd base.  West scored 1 in the 3rd, 1 in the 4th, and 5 in the 6th.  Michael Olson started on the mound, going 3 innings allowing 1 run off of 3 hits, walking 2 and striking out 2.  Logan Davis led the offense going 1 for 2, with 2 walks and 2 runs scored. Davis also pitched 1 ⅔ innings retiring all 5 batters he faced.  Wilson Magers with the win for Mankato West pitching 5 ⅔ innings allowing 1 run off of 2 hits, striking out 12 and walking 1.  Tigers are 0-1 and will travel to Mankato East on Thursday, game on KATE.

-NRHEG 5, Blue Earth 2.  Panthers are 1-0.  Andrew Phillips led the offense going 2 for 2 with 3 runs scored.  Daxter Lee with the complete game win on the mound, going 7 innings, allowing 2 runs off of 4 hits, striking out 9 and walking 3
