Albert Lea Baseball closes out Regular season with a win against Owatonna on Senior Night

Albert Lea Baseball celebrated Senior Night on Tuesday with a 11-7 win over Owatonna. (Game Heard on KATE).  Tigers jumped out to a 2-0 lead after 2, on a 2RBI double by Brennan Bakken.  Tigers would trail 3-2 in the bottom of the 3rd, when they exploded for 6 runs on 5 hits, to take a 8-3 lead.  Owatonna would cut the lead to 8-5, and 10-7, but never get closer.

Dakota Jahnke got the win in relief, Bakken led the offense going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI’s.  Jack Skinness and Carter Miller each had 2 hits.

The 6 Seniors honored, Colin Madson, Carter Miller, Brennan Bakken, Cameron Davis, Henry Eggum and Trey Hill

Tigers wrap up the regular season with a 7-10 record and will start Section 2AAA play on Wednesday June 1st (Game on KATE).  Seedings come out Friday
