3 Kids Killed in Weekend ATV Crashes in East Central Minnesota

(Afton, MN) — Three kids are dead after a pair of weekend A-T-V crashes in east central Minnesota. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says two ten-year-old girls were riding in Afton Saturday evening when they crashed and became trapped under the machine. First responders discovered the victims and attempted first aid but were unable to save them. Chisago County sheriff’s deputies say a 13-year-old boy was riding near Stacy on Saturday afternoon when his A-T-V rolled over. Officers say the boy was airlifted to Regions Hospital in critical condition and died of his injuries` on Sunday. The victim was identified as 13-year-old Mason Demenge of Chisago City.
